Some of you here are really on an anti Latifah/Black kick here. I think, and my opinion is as important asanyone else’s, that Latifah did a great job, taking her mike out….which pumps in music for her to follow……and on the whole, I think Underwood did well, except the last note, which although not flat, was not the right note. I’m not a fan of the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ as it’s a song about war, and wish it would be changed to ‘America the Beautiful’, now if we all just get over eachother.

As angry that i can get about this countries misrepresented foreign policies, and our new administrations push towards communism, those two songs bring me back. They can restore confidence. Those are The Peoples songs. Bravo…

i just love that everyone on here knows so much about singing and how hard it is to hear yourself and be 100 percent on key when singing for a crowd this big. i also love that everyone want to make fun of queen latifah and everyone thinks its bc shes black but thats not why at all, its bc shes a lil on the fluffy side. who cares, shes worth millions , people call her queen, and she doesnt give a fuck!
