3. Manipulation? (Getting what he/she wants/needs OR Simply wanting/needing you as a friend)
What are the best ways to determine if someone likes you for who you are, or if he/she is just using you?

Just compare how they act around you when you’re alone and how they act around you when they’re with their friends. If they are really sweet towards you when your alone and then when they’re with their friends they’re jerks they don’t truly like you. Also see what they’re friends say about you. He might be making false claims and saying you did things that you really didn’t. When he/she calls is another indicator. If they only talk to you and want to hang out with you at night then they’re usually just using you.

1 you can tell fake personalities by using powers of observation.
2 nothing has to be yes or no true or fake everyone is individual to their own opinion.
3 maybe she is looking for something you are too.
If you really know yourself ,who you are your likes/dislikes, and what your capable of I think It may be you , you need to look at and judge first before you judge someone else.

None of the things on your list really say if a person likes you. Somebody could be all those things but still really like you. Some people act different to try to impress (fake or real) it doesn’t matter necessarily. Same with claims and manipulation. People are and will do act as they do but how much they really like you is another matter. I guess one sign would be if you are always arguing or not agreeing then the person doesn’t really like your ways or views but even then you can’t really tell what their deep thoughts are or how much they like you but if they fight to keep you as a friend then its very doubtful you are just being used.

This will be a long process, you will never know what he/she is thinking about you. We are not “God”or not having a supernatural power to judge. No one knows what is going in the mind or what kind of the heart he/she is having.The only way is to know a person is how much the quality of time you spend with them. Life is always having up and downs i.e why so beautiful. You never know what is going to be the next happen in your life so how can you judge a person. Everyone has/her own feeling and a different ways to react to a same situation. You can see only the things which are visible to you but the beauty lies at the beneath of the sea not at the upper level of sea which only you see.
